June 25, 2020 By Secretariat

Faster supplier finance onboarding – why speed matters in a crisis

ACTS is delighted to be partnering with the Supply Chain Finance Community and DBS on the SCF Community webinar series, which aims to help corporations support their supply chains through the global pandemic.

This time, our topic is onboarding your suppliers, and how that process can be improved to offer funding to more suppliers, faster.

We’re lucky to have three great speakers sharing their insight from the perspectives of buyers, suppliers and finance providers. Between them, they will be examining how and why successful SCF programmes get more suppliers involved.

Christiaan de Goeij
Project Manager
Windesheim University

Divyesh Dalal
Head of GTS
DBS Bank

David Wuttke
Assistant Professor
Technical University Munich

Among the topics we’ll be covering are:

  • Top tier vs ‘long tail’: how many suppliers should you aim to onboard, and when?
  • What deters smaller companies?
  • How can we keep onboarding simple?
  • Automation: How the best onboarding processes do the work for you.

We will have access to unique insights gained from research programmes at Windesheim University and Technical University of Munich, as well as the bank perspective from DBS.

Just click here to register, and we’ll see you online on the 25th!

Webinar – ACTS x DBS x SCF Community: The World after COVID-19 – How global supply chains are being digitized faster than ever

May 28, 2020 By Secretariat

The COVID-19 pandemic has been hugely disruptive to global supply chains. Yet it is also accelerating the pace on some much-needed changes to the way we manage them, including digitising paper-based trade processes and data.

In the second in the series of SCF Community webinars supported by the ACTS, SCF Community board member Viktor Elliot is joined by Nicolas Marsac, CFO Asia Pacific at Trafigura and Sriram Muthukrishnan, head of trade products at DBS Bank to assess the progress of digitisation.

They will discuss how the digital supply chains of the future will make for more efficient and secure global trade while opening up new opportunities for liquidity through supply chain finance.

  • Understand the security and liquidity advantages of digitisation
  • Appreciate the pace of change, especially in developing markets
  • Learn from the experiences of our expert panel
  • Ask the questions that matter to you

For companies which embrace digitisation and quit the paper habit, supply chains could emerge from the pandemic stronger, better funded and more secure than ever.

Find out what supply chain digitisation means for your company: Join us for this educational webinar by using the button below.  There’s no charge to attend.
